This show was the Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. I was, along with the costume head who happened to be directing the show, tasked to work costume design for the show. I happened to be in the production which helped me develop a thorough understanding of the plot and the feel which I believe aided in the costume choices. I made the devil horns Devil 1 wears out of cardboard, felt, hot glue, and a headband and helped the costume head order and pick out clothes for the others. The show is a more fun, less serious, and humorous show so we chose things that weren't too elaborate to try and give the feel of "thrown together". For example, during the opening scene, we have actors in the background rolling the costume racks on stage and changing there which is why certain aspects, like the horse, didn't necessarily need to be super elaborate and exact. Below are the signs we made for the audience.

On the left, you'll see the Headless Horseman that I and others designed for the Sleepy Hollow production. I sketched up a rough draft of what I thought the horseman should look like. After that image, you'll see how it turned out. The design of the horseman was really brought to life because me and my fellow associates all worked together, sharing ideas and sharing jobs to really make him fit the show. His base was made out of wood and we draped black fabric around it to create his cloak. We cut out white fabric for his cuffs and used old fairy wings for his huge collar. We mounted his head on a small wooden platform centered on his belly and we connected long wooden to his arms so that he was movable. Lights were put in the head to create the illusion that it was lit up. To the right are a couple costumes that I briefly helped come up with. I gave ideas for the white bonnets and the various vests and helped the costume head put it all together.
